With countless Spider-Man movies, comics, and shows coming out since 1962, nothing seems to compare to the upcoming release of Spider-Man No Way Home. It stars  the most recent Spider-Man actor, Tom Holland, and several other well-known actors such as Zendaya and Jamie Foxx. Tom Holland has starred in several films with Marvel Studios, including his part in Avengers Infinity War, which broke multiple box office records. Infinity War brought in a total of 2.798 billion USD, and there are rumors that Tom Holland’s upcoming movie will possibly break this record.

This is the third Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland, with his first being Spider-Man Homecoming, bringing in a total of 880 million USD, and Spider-Man Far From Home, making 881 million worldwide. With numbers like these, it can be confusing as to why people may believe his upcoming movie will break box office records; however, Tom Holland is not the reason for these theories.

Spider-Man No Way Home is likely to break these records because of the plot of the story and the characters. There have been a total of three real life Spider-Man movies, and marvel has combined the villains of all the various movies. This includes villains such as the Green Goblin (William Dafoe), Electro (Jamie Foxx), Sandman (Thomas Haden), and Doc Ock (Alfred Molina). With a cast like this, it seems to be almost impossible for the movie to not have outstanding numbers within the opening week.

This cast has led to theories of Tom Holland also not being the only Spider-Man in the movie. With Electro recently being a part of Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man movies and Doc Ock being a part of Tobey Maguire’s movies, it is unknown as to whether or not Garfield and Maguire will be a part of the movie.

There have been countless videos on social media of people explaining their thoughts as to whether or not Maguire and Garfield will be in the movie. On opening night for tickets for Spider-Man No Way Home, almost every website crashed, while tens of thousands of people attempted to get tickets for December 17th (release date of the movie).

In a recent interview, Jon Watts, one of the directors for Marvel, said “At Marvel, I would say anything is on the table”, after being asked about the upcoming release of “No Way Home”. Although this does not clearly state Maguire and Garfield will be a part of this movie, the overall idea behind it has caused Spider-Man No Way Home to break the internet.

Manny will be back with his thoughts the movie and whether you should go see it.
